About Avionikwerk
münchner Avionikwerk (short: Avionikwerk) is an avionics company based in Munich, Germany. It designs avionics and high-reliability electronics for aerospace, defence and space, and delivers them as tested units: PCBA testing, automated box build, burn-in and acceptance testing, in Europe.
Yes. Avionikwerk is headquartered in Munich and serves programmes across Europe. Design, assembly and testing stay in Europe.
It owns the chain from design to delivery: mission-specific design, testing of sourced PCBAs, automated box build, burn-in and acceptance testing. Customers receive tested, burned-in units, not loose boards.
No. Avionikwerk sources assembled PCBs from qualified manufacturers on the customer's behalf and owns everything around them: board test, box build, burn-in and acceptance testing.
Avionikwerk is building its processes to be certifiable to AS9100D. Designs are developed for certification: platform requirements are derived from RTCA DO-160G, MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-704F and MIL-STD-461G, traced to verification evidence and exchanged in ReqIF. Product certification and qualification are completed per programme with the customer and the authority.
Knowing who owns a design, where it is built and what depends on non-European supply. Avionikwerk keeps design authority, assembly and test in Europe and records second sources and lifecycle status for every component.
